Yagna, according to the Vedic literature, is a ritual of sacrifice where wooden matches are used to create holy fire. The five Bhoodas or elements namely land, water, fire, air and space are worshipped. Offerings like ghee, grains and fruits are made to invoke the divine souls to receive their blessings for external and internal benefit. Today, many people consider external richness as real wealth. Internal richness like peace and contentment is neglected. Lakshmi and Kubera are the Goddess and God of wealth. Tapas means meditation. Lakshmi Kubera Tapas is a ritual where the holy fire is created externally through wooden matches and internally through raising the kundalini energy of the human being. Chanting the divine sound “Om” and reciting the beeja mantras, an energy field is created. The presence of the Devas and Supreme beings can be felt. The blessings received from these higher souls are highly beneficial to earn external richness like education, health, wealth and for the destruction of negative powers which disturb in daily life. Internal richness like peace, contentment and bliss also happens. Lakshmi Kubera Tapas can be performed to energize new constructions, homes, factories, companies, working stations where people meet for mutual benefit. It is necessary to be rich both externally and internally for a peaceful contented life.
